Hôtel Belle Rive

The restoration and extension of a 1930s lakeside hotel, reconnecting its salons, terraces and gardens with the water.

The original building is treated with restraint, its proportions and pale render restored while later additions are removed. A new timber wing steps down through the garden and remains secondary to the historic silhouette. Interiors combine lacquered joinery, natural wool, brushed brass and local stone in a contemporary interpretation of lakeside elegance.
